minily Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and SpaceVibe Studios LLC, Wyoming, USA (“we”), for the minily iPhone app. By creating an account you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Who can use minily
- minily is for parents and legal guardians who want to keep their child’s moments and turn them into a book.
- You must be 18 or older to create an account. People you invite, such as a partner or grandparents, must be adults too.
- Children do not use the app. You may add photos and details of a child only if you are that child’s parent or legal guardian, or have their permission.
Your account
You sign in with Apple, with Google or with a one-time code we email you. Keep your device and your sign-in safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account. You decide who joins your family and can remove people at any time.
Your content
- Your photos, videos, voice messages and texts stay yours.
- You allow us to store, process and show them only as needed to run minily for you: to build your book, share it with the people you invite, create AI texts if you agreed to that, and print the book you order.
- Only add content you have the right to use. Do not add content that is illegal, sexual, violent or that harms a child or anyone else. We may remove such content and close accounts that break these rules, and report content to the authorities where the law requires it.
Pip and other AI features
Pip is an AI, not a person. Pip writes page titles and texts, chooses photos, cuts films from your videos and talks with you about your moments. AI can be wrong or say something that does not fit, so check texts before you print them. Pip is not a doctor, midwife or other expert; do not rely on Pip for medical, legal or safety advice. The AI features need your separate consent and you can turn them off in the settings.
Free plan
Without a subscription, minily is free for the person who creates the album and one more adult. Everyone else in the family, including grandparents who only view, needs Premium or Premium Plus. If a subscription ends, these people are paused and nothing is deleted. The free plan has these limits per calendar month: 30 new photos and videos, with videos kept up to 30 seconds and at a reduced size; one story that Pip designs; and 30 messages to Pip. Each album has 2 GB of space. Photos and videos above a limit stay on your iPhone and are added in the next month, or right away with Premium. Nothing you already captured is removed. Your content and the export stay free for as long as your account exists.
Subscriptions
- Premium and Premium Plus are sold through the App Store and paid with your Apple ID. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. You can cancel in your Apple ID settings at any time; the subscription then runs until the end of the paid term.
- Yearly plans may include a free trial of 14 days. If you do not cancel before it ends, the paid term starts.
- Monthly plans may start with a reduced price for the first month, as shown in the app before you buy. After that month, the regular monthly price applies unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- Apple allows one introductory offer (free trial or reduced first month) per Apple ID for minily.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s rules, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If a subscription ends, you keep your content and the export; the app returns to the free plan.
- Our server learns your subscription status from Apple through RevenueCat. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details.
Printed books and book credit
- Printed books are sold by our print partner Peecho B.V., the Netherlands, not through the App Store. Peecho is the seller, takes the payment, handles tax and ships the book. Peecho’s terms of sale apply to the order, including delivery, returns and complaints about print quality.
- The yearly Premium Plus plan includes a book credit for one printed book with shipping, for each paid year. Monthly plans include no book credit.
- The credit is created with the first payment of each yearly term, not during the free trial. You can use it 14 days after that payment, and it stays valid for 13 months. Unused credit then expires.
- If you cancel, your credit stays valid until it expires. If Apple refunds the yearly payment, the credit for that year is removed. If you switch to the yearly Premium Plus plan, you get the credit with its first payment.
- The credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- Before you order, you see a preview of the book. Please check it; what you approve is what gets printed.
Deleting your account
You can download all your data and delete your account in the app at any time. If you created the album, you choose whether to hand it over to another adult in your family or delete it for everyone. Deleting the album deletes its photos and videos and stops QR codes in printed books from working. Deleting the app does not delete your account or cancel a subscription; cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
Our service
We work to keep minily running and your content safe, but we cannot promise that the app is always available or free of errors. Please export your content now and then. We may change or improve features. If a change takes away something you paid for, we tell you in advance.
Liability
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health, and as required by product liability law. Otherwise we are liable only for breaching essential duties of this agreement, limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable. Where the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Mandatory consumer rights in your country are not affected.
Apple
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for minily and its content.
- You may use minily on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store terms.
- Apple has no duty to provide maintenance or support for minily. If minily does not work as promised, you may tell Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty duty.
- We, not Apple, handle any claims about minily, including product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection and intellectual property claims.
- You confirm that you are not in a country under a US embargo and are not on a US list of restricted persons.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we tell you in the app at least 30 days before. If you do not agree, you can cancel and delete your account.
Law and disputes
The laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, apply. If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or another country, the mandatory consumer laws of your home country still apply and you can bring claims there. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved by email.
